About ME:
I have been told that I make space for people to be exactly who they are. I'm an introvert and an open book. I’m calm and analytical and really like to figure out why people do what they do. I truly love animals with an unfettered joy reserved only for them. In my spare time, I listen to an uncomfortable amount of 90s music and obsessively research anything I am even fleetingly interested in. Mostly, though, I remain staring blankly at the ocean or under a heated blanket on my couch, depending on the season.
ABout MY WORK:
I got my start as the sole employee at independent record label and management company Ramseur Records, based in North Carolina. In 2010, I founded Spacecar Management and had a dedicated roster of management and design clients. In 2014, I joined the team at Easy Sound Recording Company as label manager, overseeing A&R, label operations and growth and project managing releases. And starting in 2019, I partnered with Olivia Management to oversee independent album releases by their roster of artists. I am currently running operations at Asthmatic Kitty Records, home to Sufjan Stevens, Angelo De Augustine and lots of other artists. And in all that time, I’ve also led a double life as a complete operations and process nerd, in both a 9-5 and freelance capacity, which you can read more about here.
